For later tracking option, the marking Logs with Flags had been implemented. The Log lists can be organized based on these markings.

The use of the system does not demands to login to the Server. In this case there is an option to use it locally, for e.g.: to create a report, and run it after logging in to the Server.

Option to open an EagleEyeOS™ Export file from an other computer in the Control Center. In this case the Export file will be visible and printable from a separated window, or to save it into other, non- EagleEyeOS™ Export format.

With the use of Message Queue the system will be available in case of slower network connection also, as of all commands will be listed, where these will be executed from as listed.

Possibility to use more than one Real-time Monitor simultaneously, which assures parallel tracking of more processes too.

For easier use, the Forests will be displayed on separate panels, this way even four different Rule types can be seen together at one place. In these panels the display of the Forest can be selected in three different types (Miniature, List, Details).

On the Alerts and Auto Reports pages in the Control Center the Delete button was active if any row was selected. Now it only active if an Alert of Auto Report selected.

It shows that what hosts were connected with the certain storage independently if the storage is a pen-drive or a photo camera. Based on its hardware identification ability it shows exactly who connected it, when and on which hosts or rather what kind of file operations were executed on it.

With a single setup, this makes possible to restrict access to the files stored on a given Computer only for those Computers in the network, which has Agents on. Using this technology the files stored on the Computers inside an EagleEyeOS Zone are unavailable for Computers connected illegally to the network.

All creation and deletion of a selected file name can be monitored. It can help in multiple Lifecycle Tracking.

Previously disabled notifications can be re-enabled in the Control Center. This can be done with notifications and warning messages.

The Access Mode of existing Storages can be changed for a specific time interval. After it the Access Mode of the Storage will be set back to the previous value. You can trigger a Report also, scheduled to the State restore time.

In the Control Center a Novell server can be used to query network computers for remote installations. You must specify the name of the Novell server to use this function.

Add following new languages to the Control Center: Chinese, Czech, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, and Russian.

A new First Install Steps panel was developed, to help the Operator execute the necessary fine-tuning and post-installation steps after the first installation. The panel can be disabled and re-enabled at any time, regardless of the completion status of the steps. All steps include a detailed description of the current procedure to help the understanding of the step's functions and the procedure.

A new, time based logging and caching engine was developed for better support of mixed offline and online log processing. This will increase logging performance nearly 300%.

In Filters (which contains the events 'Copy' and 'Move') Target Directory can be specified, allowing or denying more complex file events.

Improved version of the original Depends view, which supports viewing Forests/Hosts/Host Groups/Every Host recursively. This is helping to identify which Forests are assigned to Hosts/Host Groups/Every Host and vice versa.

A new License type was introduced - called OEM License - which is valid for one year period from the activation and usable for one Host only, because the License Transfer function is denied for this type of License.

The Install Log panel was redesigned. It became always visible (can be turned on/off from the View/Panels/Install Log menu) and contains information about the installation status of the last selected Host on the Center, Install tab.

The status bar of the Control Center was improved. It displays the version of the software, and the License type. The display of the currently logged Operator was fixed, furthermore a localization bug fixed also, displaying by the current Data Sources.

If the trigger event of the Alert is Storage Connect or Storage Disconnect and the 'Only Alert Parameter'/'Path' is used, the Report will contain the File Events occurred on the media, which was Connected or Disconnected.

EagleEyeOS Agents can detect that EagleEyeOS Server is running near the end of its capacity, and re-schedule its logging time, when the Server will have free resources to process them. This will not affect the Rules assigned to the Agent.

Several Control Center functions was fixed which can cause the instability of the running Control Center application; for example by locking the desktop after creating any type of new Forest.

An informant error reporting system was added to the EagleEyeOS Server and Agent component which is helping to identify the possible problems.

A rarely used rename method, called 'Relative Rename' is now supported (and handled) in the EagleEyeOS Agent. This will fix some network rename problems, if the EagleEyeOS Agent is installed on the remote computer.

Fixed missing Print and Copy and Paste log information in specific applications.

Any types of Alert string’s typing parameters can be used regardless of the case sensitivity.

There was a race condition when an operator logged into the Control Center and an Archive operation was in progress. This was able to hang the EagleEyeOS Server Application.

Now the EagleEyeOS Server can handle normally when multiple Agents are reconnecting at the same time. For example: In case of restarting the EagleEyeOS Server Computer.

Fixed the Operator’s rights handling, after reconnecting to the same EagleEyeOS Server (for example after restarting the EagleEyeOS Server).

Reducing high level CPU usage in the Server component generated by the communication between the Server and Agents thanks to the time based profile synchronization between the two components. Based on the developments the network communication has been reduced between the components too.

In case printing is allowed in a quarantine, than not only the printing allowed through the print manager, but furthermore through the network printers mapped on LPT ports also. The help with this function: the compatibility of the 16 bites DOS applications running in the quarantine.

Bug fixed which caused differences in case of requesting reports; by special cases the Auto Report has been performed one minute before or after the settled time.

Unifying examining routines of different archiving conditions which one guarantees not to start more than one archive processes even if this would be caused by the misconfiguration of the archiving conditions.

Support for Terminal Services in Quarantine functions in case of running more computers. Thanks to this function on a workstation - by running of numerous local and network desktops - can local and network quarantines used either. Thanks to this module the quarantine processes of a desktop are not influencing the file processes made on another desktop.

Added improved License handling which fits more to the EagleEyeOS Professional product level services installed in a certain infrastructure. The protection provide the unavailability of the denied functions in case of changing between the different product levels (e.g. from Trial to Low).

Hiding the password’s entering field in the Server’s working folders reconfiguring module (Reconfigure Path).

The Server’s message handler prepared for malicious or accidental messages with illegal content, which are not generated by the EagleEyeOS Agent, and could generate buffer overflow error.

The earlier linear “timeindex recreation” module changed to a two-way working algorithm. Instead of one log element this two-way algorithm could search – depends on the computer memory - the time space for millions of log elements. Because of the development, the running speed of “time recreation” on time fragmented logs is greatly increased.

Fixed logical bug in between Agent and Server communication timer. This problem caused that the Agent disconnected form the Server, before the Server could response to the policy refreshing request which was requested by the Agent.

Supporting of duration based license handling, now it’s possible to set license duration outside of a given interval. This makes possible that the license only valid from the first usage until the certain number of valid days.

A fixed bug which is caused in non-Severe products, whenever the Operator logged in with a wrong password.

Fixed bug in the Agents identification (HostID) system, which is caused in such environment where the Name Server can’t response quick enough to the DNS requests.

Solved incompatibility bug between Windows XP operating systme Remote Administration function and EagleEyeOS Agent user space self defense mechanism.

Finalized of the Agents self defense technology, now is impossible to disable the operation of the Agent in “Self Defense” status.

Developing way more complex and faster logging subsystem compared to EagleEyeOS version 1.2. Over the fact that the system is faster, it’s also capable to store extra information, such as: the process source and target location which caused an event, message description.

After the development phase the Agents can identify themselves to the Server, even from the local network or a LAN/VPN/Dial-up, etc. connection either.

The Server application’s most important parameters now can be fine tuned from the Control Center. The logging, storage, archive, etc. parameters cane be tuned in details.

Detailed statistics of the Agents can be displayed on the Host’ Statistic panel. The statistics contains information: such as last logged event time of the workstation, how many and what kinds of events were logged, how much were blocked; which file is the most used one of a given Host.

The Control Center expanded with effective administrative functions. These functions are: Install for remote and mass installation, Upgrade for simple version management and Update where you can download the most update versions and hotfixes, this way supporting the centralized management.

Handling complex user level operations such us: Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop. Because of the development these functions now integrated into the Quarantine defense and now can be used separately, as rules in a Filter also.

Improved printer logging functions which is logging every parameter of a printing event, even which printer were used. The function integrated to the more complex modules, for example in an FLT report, you can see when and whereto a document was printed.

Mobile devices recognition was improved. After the development phase, EagleEyeOS can identify more effectively mobile data devices, and more detailed information of those can be logged.

In a case of a blocked event the rule which blocked the event is stored. This helps finding misconfigured rules or analyzing those which particular defense system precluded an illegal operations.

There is the opportunity to create optional enabling/disabling rule system in an organization with Printer Rules. The Quarantine function’s printer settings are overriding those Rules.

Extended Quarantine functionality is enabling to generate unique exceptions, or to control programs/users’ accesses, with the new functionality there is a possibility to control remote or local users’ access to the Quarantine.

The improved FLT functionality is enabling the users to follow the network operations. Extended FLT functions are: Seek Origin which is searching for the first creation’s information (who/where/under which name) of the given file with the original content.

Improved Report querying function; therefore now you can sort for any parameter of the logging. The Report visualization also has improved, now the parameters could be freely grouped, sorted, filtered.

Auto Reports with the parameter of the Report and automatic scheduling can be defined. The Auto Reports are stored centrally, where is easy to download them. The Auto Reports after their creation can be sent to the given e-mail list.

Alerts with the parameters of logging events, causing an Alert can be defined. The Alerts are stored centrally, where it is easy to download them. The Alerts after their creation can be sent to the given e-mail list.

An easy-to-use managing system built into the Control Center. This management system makes easy to handle Alerts and Auto Reports and the results of those.
