ValDeal Innovation Plc. and The University of Texas at Austin IC² Institute congratulate the inventors - professionals of SaveAs Plc. the innovators of EagleEyeOS™ software to participate in the ValDeal Innovation Project Competition and getting selected as one of the most promising ones.

 

With an Awarding Ceremony, Project Competition of ValDeal has been closed on 24th of April, 2008. Out of more than 200 applicants, upon the selection of the international jury of professionals, as the most promising intellectual innovations, 28 projects had been selected for further common business developments, whereas EagleEyeOS™ software also got into. Besides the domestic help of ValDeal, well-known American organizations will help the awarded innovations’ additional market penetration and the faster and more effective entrée into the international and the US market.

 

The Allocation Committee of the XV. Hungarian Innovation Awards has acknowledged the EagleEyeOS™ Easy data security software family preventing data-leakage issued in 2006 by SaveAs Plc. as a momentous innovation.

 

The notability of the application is acknowledging the significant innovations established by corporations registered in Hungary and supporting the research & development activity. According to the Hungarian Innovation Association, SaveAs will attain significant economic growth by means of EagleEyeOS in the future.

 

EagleEyeOS™ was the only Hungarian product to become a finalist in the British Institution of Engineering and Technology's Innovation in Engineering Awards 2006. The software against internal data leakage finished among the top three of seven entries of the IT category.

 

The British Institution of Engineering and Technology, the largest technical institution in Europe, counting 150,000 members, organises its award every year in 17 categories, in 17 different sectors. The aim of the innovation awards is to provide an indirect method of improving business, by providing a framework to encourage organisations to invest in innovation. The jury of each category shortlisted 54 from many hundreds of entries making them eligible to win the main prize in their category.

 

EagleEyeOS™, software against data leakage and high level integrated data security received as most promising product a special award on the IT-Business Leadership Award 2006 professional competition.

 

The competition called IT-Business Leadership Award had been promoted the second time by the well-known inland magazine, with the goal to reward the innovative spirit, the example level solutions in the ICT sector. This year, the four categories of the competition – project and product development, both are small- and medium enterprise corporate – were complemented with a special award. The eight-member jury – first time now – remunerated the most promising Hungarian software with a special award.
