GENERAL GUIDELINES
Furthermore listed details cannot be considered as an official proposal or obligation. Licensor does not take any warranty and responsibility to observe these rules; furthermore it can differ in any case. The License Policy stands as headlines only, can vary between products.
Single license use of the Software (or any file of it) means a single installation on hard disc or loading into memory. The exceptional products are marked separately.
By default the license contract does not authorize its user to lend, lend-lease, loan, rent, lease etc. the software product.
The license contract does not authorize Licensee to produce an equivalent and/or another and/or an ensuing product and/or service with application of the Software or a part of it.
By default the EagleEyeOS™ licenses always are attached to the user’s computer not to the user personally.
- Single user - Several computers: By default Licensee/user shall dispose a separate license for each computers in case of use several computers.
- Single computer – Several users: Should a single computer used by several user than a computer and adherent license can be used by any number of users but the usage may not be e.g. a part of a lease-type profiteering. (Exemplarily this usage method can be for an enterprise operating shift-work)
Licensee/User shall dispose licenses of the desktop software even if the code of a software stored on server or users run it from a server. (A typical example for it is the usage of the Remote Desktop.)
By defaults a computer network is composed of ’clients’ access/authorized licenses’. It ensures for the Licensee/User to access the data from clients through the server.
Licensee/User may make copy of the Software in order ensure a security backup copy only.
The usage rights can be determined as follows:
- Continual/Lifetime usage rights: Licensee/User receives continual/lifetime usage rights for the purchased products.
- Usage rights for stated period: Licensee/User receives usage rights for the purchased period.
- Combined usage rights: Licensee/User receives full usage rights for the purchased period. Licensee/User receives usage rights for some features of the Software besides the purchased period (before and/or after it).
CHANGEOVER OF THE LICENSES
The EagleEyeOS™ software cannot be transferred.
There is no way for redemption of the sold licenses.
In case of changeover/extension of the licenses the norm is the currently valid pricelist.
Software exchange to a higher version is possible with the payment of the difference.
The number of the purchased licenses can be increased as follows:
- Full License: Extension of the purchased license quantity with additional licenses for the entire period. The log files can be surveyed for the previous period. Reduced rate for quantity purchase is not available contracted, it is available only for the newly purchased licenses and can be hold in respect of the regarding extend. Contracted reduce rate is available in case of the next renewal of the license. The Full License is considered for the entire period.
- Part-time License: Extension of the purchased license quantity with additional licenses for the remaining period. The log files cannot be surveyed for the previous period. Reduced rate for quantity purchase is not available contracted, it is available only for the newly purchased licenses and can be hold in respect of the regarding extend. Contracted reduce rate is available in case of the next renewal of the license. The Part-time License is considered for the remaining period (proportionally).
Exchange of the Part-time License to Entire License is possible in case of pay for the difference.
Recycling of the purchased licenses (E.g.: changing computers, or in case of enterprise restructuring.)
License Transfer (periodical): The License can be transferred from an unused computer to a new one. The lives of the computers are considered as separate periods. The new computer does not inherit the name (Host ID) and the past (Log) of the previous one. The unused computer will not send information to the central server anymore.

In case of the User has not purchased so far and desires to purchase License for the previous period; it is possible to purchase it along with the new Licenses.
HOTFIX, SUBSCRIPTION, UPGRADE
Licensor determines the following versions: 1.2-hotfix-9 (major.minor-hotfix-number)
- Hotfix: Hotfix of the Software version without functional extension. The version number of the Software will not be changed. It is available free of charge.
- Subscription: The functional extension of the current Software version. The major or minor version number of the Software will be changed. It is available in the frame of subscription.
- Upgrade: The functional extension of the current Software version. The major or minor version number of the Software will be changed. It is available for the end-users who have not subscription.
